The scripture verses below correspond to the stanzas of the song.
The Accuser of the brethren,
Not the God of love and grace,
Will whisper tempting thoughts to Saints with glee,
For he lies and steals by telling them to focus on the LAW –
Instead of on the One who set them free.
The Ten Commandments aren’t the key that causes victory
For Jesus nailed them to the Cross of Shame.
But Satan uses them to kill God’s life of peace and joy
Through groundless condemnation, guilt and blame.
For the Law was only meant to show the depth of mankind’s sin,
The rebel nature Adam passed on down,
To bring us to the revelation of our need for Christ,
Who offers us His Kingdom and a crown.
In Christ there is no condemnation – Jesus bore ALL sin
And ALL of God’s just wrath at Calvary.
Receive by faith His Kingdom and His Robe of Righteousness,
A Gift, through Christ, that grants true liberty.
Accept Him by receiving all He’s done in the Unseen
And letting Him live through You here on earth.
It’s only possible by being One with Jesus Christ
By grace, through faith, which starts with Your New Birth.
Then look to Jesus, not to Law, who saves and heals and keeps,
And trust in Him for all He came to give.
Receive His love and mercy and forgiveness of all sins.
For, only by the Spirit can You live.
And thank Him for re-making You a New Creation Saint,
An heir with Jesus Christ, God’s first-born Son,
So You can live His victory, above all circumstance!
Your war with Law and Satan He has WON!
I glorify You, Father, thank-you Jesus Christ, my King.
Sweet Holy Spirit, Counselor and Friend,
Please live Your Life within me, overflowing with Your love,
Through faith in Christ where freedom never ends.

We know from scripture that Jesus was crucified, died and was buried, then He arose from the grave and later, ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of Father-God.
We now also know, through the Fifth Gospel that Jesus revealed directly to Paul, that the same process happens spiritually, by grace through faith, to every in Adam person who becomes ”saved” by being reborn of God through agreeing with Romans 10:9-13.
By doing so, one’s core being – the spirit-self that is dead to God in Adam – is made alive as a New creation, who never existed before, and is now spiritually compatible –“one spirit” with God in Christ. Paul referred to this transformation happening in one’s “inner man.”
