- 1 Corinthians 1:8 He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus saves and keeps you.
- 1 Corinthians 1:9 God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful. You might not be a pillar of faithfulness, but he who called you can be trusted. He is always faithful.
- 2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. God’s promises are “Yes in Christ.” They do not hinge on you.
- 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. Boomfah! We can’t trust our own guarantees, but surely we can trust his. (See also Rom 8:9, 2 Cor 5:5).
- 2 Corinthians 3:9 If the ministry that condemns men is glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness!
- 2 Corinthians 5:5 Now it is God who has made us for this very purpose and has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. More guarantees.
- 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! And the new will never become the old again.
- 2 Corinthians 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. We are as righteous as God! How can we improve on that?
- 2 Corinthians 6:2 For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation. Salvation is now, not tomorrow.
- 2 Corinthians 10:7 If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ, he should consider again that we belong to Christ just as much as he. You are not your own. You cannot lose what belongs to Jesus.
- Galatians 3:3 Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? Paul is not saying we can undo the Spirit’s work, but trying to complete what he has promised to complete and will complete is a waste of time.
- Galatians 3:26 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. God’s kids are secure.
- Galatians 4:6 Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.”
- Galatians 4:7 So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir. What God has made (you, into an heir) no one can unmake.
- Galatians 6:14-15 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation.
- Ephesians 1:4-5 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.
- Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. There are no limits to his forgiveness.
- Ephesians 1:11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will. (NKJV)
- Ephesians 1:13 in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom, having also believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise (ASV). Sealed = securely saved. See also Eph 4:30.
- Ephesians 2:4-6 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus. You are seated with Jesus.
- Ephesians 2:7-9 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. Everything that saves us is from God and his gifts are good.
- Ephesians 2:18-19 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household. We have already arrived. Not only are we new creatures, we are new citizens, with all the rights and privileges therein. See also Php 3:20.
- Ephesians 3:17-19 And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Love without limit.
- Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Sealed = securely saved. See also Eph 1:13.
- Ephesians 5:29-30 After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church—for we are members of his body. A wonderful affirmation of our secure position in Christ. Jesus doesn’t do amputations.
