But Knowing The Truth Will Set You Free
Lie # 16 “It is God’s will that you suffer for Him to gain heaven rather than to prosper in this world.”
No, it was not God’s perfect plan for Adam and Eve to ever suffer in the perfect Garden of Eden that He created for them. All of mankind’s suffering, sickness, pain, lack, torment and all other forms of death resulted from Adam’s rebellion against God’s will for Adam. Jesus entered into the suffering of our human condition in Adam to offer an alternative to Adam’s fall – salvation on every level.
Suffering still comes from poor choices made by us or others – including persecution for the Gospel of Christ like Paul suffered, even from members of the Jerusalem church. But the true heart of God is not to steal, kill and destroy like His enemy does but to provide, heal and set captives free. Also, no one can “gain” heaven by suffering because heaven is given as a free gift through rebirth. He sent Jesus to accomplish this for all who trust and rely on His divine exchange. Your concept of God greatly effects how much you personally experience His tangible love and blessing in the seen realm. See Chapter Twenty-One and Appendix #2 for more revelation.
Lie # 17 “A sinner is anyone who sins.”
No, not according to Jesus’ biblical definition given in Romans 5:19 that states, “By the disobedience of one man (Adam) the many were made sinners.” Therefore, because everyone is born in Adam, everyone is a sinner by nature even before he/she does any sinning. You can only change your nature and destiny by being reborn of God (see John 3:3-7). A reborn believer is now a saint who sometimes sins. Believer, agree with God about your new identity in Christ Jesus that gives proper credit to Father-God’s love for you, proven by Jesus’ divine exchange with you. Your new spirit-self is now God’s workmanship, recreated in Christ Jesus for good works, not for evil.
