PART ONE: Who Was I In Adam?

** Because I was IN ADAM, I was spiritually dead to God   Col. 2:13 one with Darkness  Eph. 5:8  –  under the Fatherhood of Satan   Jn. 8:44  –  my  heart was deceitful beyond cure  Jer. 17:9 THEREFORE, WHO WAS I ?  –  a spirit dead to God  Eph  4:18  –  with a soul hostile to God  Rom. 8:7  –  living in a body entangled in sinful lusts Titus 3:3  –  a slave of sin  Rom.  6:17  –  under the law of sin and death  Rom. 8:2  –  by nature, a child of wrath  Eph. 2:3   without hope and without God.  Eph. 2:12              WHY WAS I HERE ?  –  to pursue the lust of the flesh, the lust of the       eyes and the pride of life 1 Jn. 2:16  –  to serve the Kingdom of Darkness            WHERE WAS I GOING ?  – doomed to eternal damnation  Mt. 25:46 and John 3:17-18

** KEY FACT: Satan is a life-less spirit who tempts and uses His victims to steal, kill and destroy through their thoughts, deeds and words. “DEATH and LIFE are in the power of the tongue.”  Prov. 18:21

PART TWO: What Happened to Me when I was Reborn of God, according to Romans 10:9-13:

God RESCUED Me from the Power of DARKNESS …  Col. 1:13-23   I have been CRUCIFIED with Christ who now LIVES in me and I live by FAITH in Him – and in Him by faith. Gal. 2:20, Col. 1:27, Gal. 6:14 In Baptism I was BURIED with CHRIST Rm. 6:4 but also RAISED to NEW LIFE with (in) HIM. Col. 2:12-13 Born again of the Spirit Jn. 3:8 and Titus 3:5 If anyone is IN CHRIST, he is a New Creation; the Old (man) has passed away; Behold! The new has come. 2 Cor. 5: 14-21 and Eze. 11:19, 18:31, 36:26 I was bought with a price – Jesus’ Blood. 1 Cor. 6:20 Now I belong to Christ Jesus.  Rom. 1:6 and 14:8 Jesus gave me FREE and HOLY to God to be a Priest, Prophet and King.  1 Pet. 2:9, Col. 1:22   Jesus gave me the promised Holy Spirit. Gal.  3:14   Jesus won for me a FUTURE and a HOPE –– Life (zoe) forever in Him.  He is my Reward.   Therefore, Rom. 6:11 is the KEY:  I count all this as true for me and live accordingly by faith in You, Lord, depending on Your Finished work through You, Holy Spirit, to do Father-God’s good will and pleasure.

PART THREE: WHO AM I NOW ?      

God RESCUED Me from the Power of DARKNESS and TRANSFERRED me into the Kingdom of His Son, NOW under the Lordship of JESUS CHRIST, through whom I have full redemption, the forgiveness of ALL my sin and am reconciled to God, my New Father, and saved from His wrath.  Rom. 5:9, 2 Cor. 5:19 THEREFORE,  I am a child of God.  John 1:12          I am a New Creation SPIRIT being, Eze. 36:26,  2 Cor. 5:17, 1 Thes. 5:23 – I am JUSTIFIED by faith in Christ Rom. 8:30 – I am the Righteousness of God in Christ. 2 Cor. 5:21 – I have a soul being SANCTI­FIED by the HOLY SPIRIT. 1 Thes. 5:23,  Rom. 12:2 – I live in a body that is now the TEMPLE  of the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor. 6:19 – I am a saint, Rom. 8:27, ONE spirit with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Jn. 17:21, 1 Cor. 6:17                            WHY AM I HERE NOW ? – to Know, Love and Serve God as Jesus did. – to Worship God in SPIRIT and in Truth as a living sacrifice Jn. 4:24, Rom. 12:2 – to be His Ambassador of reconciliation 2 Cor. 5:20 – to Disciple Nations  Mt. 28:19 – Re-created in Christ Jesus to do good works. Eph. 2:10 – to Reign in life through JESUS Rom. 5:17 – My true Identity will be fully revealed Rom. 8:19 – I am now seated in Heavenly Places in Christ.  Eph. :20 & 2:6   Christ Jesus is the last Adam, a life-giving spirit 1 Cor.15:45.

We are now no longer under “law” but under Father-God’s constant Grace! Therefore …

My CALL: “To live a life (zoe) worthy of the call.” Eph. 4:1 i.e to live out of the New ME – a Radically New SPIRIT being, one with CHRIST (Jn. 17:21) that is DEAD to SIN (Rm. 6:2) but ALIVE to God (Rm. 6:11) by Faith –  dependent trust and rest in Him; and daily allow my NATURAL MIND (lies, strongholds, wrong concepts) to be TRANSFORMED by the TRUTH of the whole GOSPEL of Christ Rom. 12:1-2, Phil. 4:8.
