CHAPTER FOURTEEN – E.C.T.

Resisting and Overcoming All Darkness by Faith in Jesus’ Cross and Victory

Triumphant Jesus, in You all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form and You are the Head of all rule and authority. In You, I have received this fullness,[i] grace upon grace,[ii] being blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies[iii] where I am now seated in You.[iv] Since I am now born of God, I overcome the evil one and the world system through faith (believing, trusting, relying, resting) in the fact that You are the Son of God.[v] Now, infinitely greater are You, Who is in the new me, than Satan who is running the world system.[vi]

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for disarming the rulers and authorities of Darkness, making a public spectacle of them and triumphing over them by Your cross[vii] and for delivering the new me from all evil by being in You.[viii] Through rebirth, You have given me authority and power to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy. Therefore, nothing can harm the new me in You.[ix] However, I do not rejoice that all the evil spirits must submit to me in You but I rejoice that I am confirmed, anointed and sealed in You [x] and that my name is written in heaven [xi] – in Your Book of unending Life.[xii] Hallelujah!
