Greeting, Seeing And Worshiping The One, True, And Only God
Good morning, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit,[i] the Alpha and the Omega[ii] – the great I AM[iii] – the Covenant-making God of Abraham,[iv] Isaac and Jacob,[v] the One[vi] and only True,[vii] ever-living, Creator-God,[viii] eternal King,[ix] the God of the living[x] and the Author of my salvation.[xi] You have graced[xii] me to believe that You exist and that You reward anyone who seeks You out.[xiii] *
Because of your great and unselfish love for me, Father-God, You, who are rich in mercy, chose to make me alive with the risen Christ – reborn of You[xiv]** – even when I was still a sinner[xv] and dead in transgressions.[xvi] You delivered me out of the authority of Darkness and translated me into the Kingdom of Your beloved Son, Jesus the Christ.[xvii] He is now my Ransom[xviii] and my Resurrection,[xix] my Wisdom, my righteousness and sanctification, my Redeemer[xx] – my very life.[xxi]
You are a holy,[xxii] all-good,[xxiii] Almighty,[xxiv] all-knowing,[xxv] all-loving,[xxvi] forever merciful,[xxvii] trustworthy, faithful and true,[xxviii] ever-present,[xxix] infinite and unchangeable,[xxx] Triune[xxxi] God by nature and I boast only in You, Lord.[xxxii] Please teach me what is best for me and direct me in the way that I should go.[xxxiii]
Lord, I thank You and praise You and adore You and worship You and I love You with the love of the Holy Spirit poured into my new heart.[xxxiv] Therefore, I gladly and whole-heartedly serve You, O Mighty One of all Glory and Majesty,[xxxv] the Lord, my God.[xxxvi] To You, sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb, belong all blessing and honor and glory and power forever and ever.[xxxvii] Amen!
