So I thank You for Your love for me,
And I boast in all You’ve Done for me, Heb. 4:9-11

And the curse of sin on Calvary. Gal. 3:13
It’s You, Lamb of God, that I love. John 1:29

COMMENTARY
So why are all reborn saints in Christ so Greatly Blessed, Highly Favored, and Deeply Loved by God – even in spite of current circumstances in the Seen Realm? Because we are now included into His everlasting Family that is more true and real than what we see down here. And how did this spiritual “relocation” into Christ and into the heavenlies with Him happen? These revelatory scriptures from Jesus’ Gospel to Paul – the 5th Gospel – capture the process, based on God’s gift of Grace through His gift of faith – trusting in His promises like Abraham did.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, this person is a new creation. The old things passed away. Behold, new things have come.
Romans 5:17 For if by the offense of the one (Adam), death reigned through the one, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ – (the Last Adam)
John 4:23 But a time is coming, and even now has arrived, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.
The more you know and bask in Father-God’s personal love and approval towards you, the more you will delight in His goodness with a grateful, worshipful heart that becomes more and more pre-occupied with Him – like Jesus learned to do while here. Living under His Grace (instead of under Moses’ Law) frees you to respond to Him out of devotion instead of duty. You now get to – instead of have to! His lovingkindness kindles a trusting faith and rest that results in true liberty in Him – the focus of week’s song.
life, that is, Jesus himself.
