1 Or do you not know,ย brothersย and sisters (for I am speaking to those who know the Law), that the Law has jurisdiction over a person as long as he lives?ย 2ย Forย the married woman is bound by law to her husband as long as he is alive; but if her husband dies, she is released from the law concerning the husband.ย 3ย So then, if while her husband is alive she gives herself to another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is not an adulteress if she gives herself to another man.
4ย Therefore, my brothersย and sisters, you also wereย put to deathย in regard to the Lawย through the body of Christ, so that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.ย 5ย For while we wereย in the flesh, the sinful passions, which wereย brought to lightย by the Law, were at workย in the parts of our body to bear fruit for death.ย 6ย But now we have beenย released from the Law, havingย died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve inย newness ofย the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.

We know from scripture that Jesus was crucified, died and was buried, then He arose from the grave and later, ascended to heaven to sit at the right hand of Father-God.
We now also know, through the Fifth Gospel that Jesus revealed directly to Paul, that the same process happens spiritually, by grace through faith, to every in Adam person who becomes โsavedโ by being reborn of God through agreeing with Romans 10:9-13.
By doing so, oneโs core being โ the spirit-self that is dead to God in Adam โ is made alive as a New creation, who never existed before, and is now spiritually compatible โโone spiritโ with God in Christ. Paul referred to this transformation happening in oneโs โinner man.โ
